Alessandro Buongiorno (born 6 June 1999) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serie A club Torino and the Italy national team. On 17 March 2023, Buongiorno received his first official call up to the senior Italian senior squad for two UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying matches against England and Malta. On 18 June, he debuted in the 2022–23 UEFA Nations League third place play-off against the Netherlands, ending in a 3-2 victory for the Italians.
