Can Yilmaz Uzun

Can Yilmaz Uzun (born 11 November 2005) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for 1. FC Nurnberg. Born in Germany, he plays for the Turkey national team. Uzun was called up to 1. FC Nurnberg II in April 2023, where he scored a goal in four appearances in the Regionalliga Bayern, and 1. FC Nurnberg in May 2023, where he made three appearances in the 2. Bundesliga. Uzun scored three goals in the first round of the 2023–24 DFB-Pokal, helping Nurnberg to a convincing 9–1 victory against fifth-tier club FC Oberneuland in the first round of the tournament. Born in Germany, Uzun is of Turkish descent with roots in Rize. He is a youth international for Turkey, having played up to the Turkey U18s. On 22 March 2024, he made a debut in the Turkey national team in a 0–1 friendly loss against Hungary.
