Joined Cwmbran Town in December 2003 from Welsh Leaguers Neath. Was signed by Dover Athletic in 2001 by Welsh legend Neville Southall, who spotted him playing in South Wales with Port Talbot. Originally on the books at Swansea City and the older brother of Adam James who signed for the Crows at the same time. Moved to Port Talbot in October 2005 and is also dual registered with Newport County.
